Eugen coordinated the Oglindă & Partners teams in important cases regarding international arbitration and public procurement.
Eugen Sârbu has been a lawyer at Oglindă & Partners since 2015, being promoted as partner in 2020.
Eugen is specialized in international arbitration, accumulating extensive experience throughout his career, especially in disputes in the field of construction law, financial-banking contracts and, in general, in disputes arising from commercial contracts and public procurement contracts.
In international arbitrations, Eugen provided legal representation before the Arbitration Courts of various jurisdictions (Switzerland, France, Spain, England, Austria), both in the application and interpretation of Romanian law, as well as other private law systems, including the rules of commercial law regulated at the level of the European Union.
Also, as a lawyer specialized in Romanian contract law, Eugen was invited to be part of international litigation teams, made up of lawyers and experts from multiple jurisdictions, in order to ensure representation in cross-border disputes.
In the field of public procurement, Eugen has developed long-term collaborative relationships with his clients, offering them advice in the preparation of offers and representation in complaints or disputes arising from the awarding procedures of public procurement contracts.
Eugen Sârbu is also an academic researcher, publishing as author and co-author several studies and scientific articles, especially on contract law, public procurement and international arbitration.
