About

After graduation, Ana-Maria joined Oglindă & Partners` team as an associate lawyer, experience which allowed her to grow within the team throughout her 2 years of training as a junior lawyer and two years as Senior lawyer.

Ana-Maria offers legal assistance, consultancy and representation in multiple fields, especially in Construction Contracts concluded under Romanian Public Procurement Law. Ana-Maria is also constantly involved in international arbitration proceedings, enforcement of arbitral awards in Romania and a variety of commercial disputes governed by Romanian Law or in front of Romanian Courts of Law.

Ana-Maria’s particularity consists in her ability to scrutinize, understand and administrate complex evidence in both International Arbitration and Domestic Litigation, her devotion for studying and deeply understanding the typicity of each means of evidence (production of documents, witnesses, expert reports, cross-examination, etc.) being demonstrated by the legal studies published on the topic of Taking of Evidence in International Arbitration.

  • Legal assistance and representation of the applicant, a major economic operator in the construction field, in an ICC Paris international arbitration;

  • Strategic advice on applicable legislation on all current issues regarding the development of an important project on the construction of a power plant;

  • Legal assistance and representation of the claimant, in an arbitration conducted under the CICA-CCIR rules, having as object the cost for additional works, time extension and penalties of delay;

  • Legal assistance and representation of the Respondent in an arbitration conducted according to the CICA-CCIR rules that analyses the execution of an important project on sewage works financed from European funds;

  • Legal advice provided to a significant number of Oglinda & Partners clients on current issues specific to the clients’ activity, in order to limit the risks and develop their businesses;

  • Legal advice on labour law issues offered to both companies and individuals.
